Greetings everyone! I’m AJ, a writer who lives in the Midwest. I’ve been writing since I was a child, and in the years that followed, I dreamed of becoming a published author. It’s something I’m still reaching for, and whenever I doubt myself (especially as I get older), I try to remind myself that Tolkien didn’t start LOTR until he was 45.

I have ADHD, which can sometimes make having a consistent writing schedule difficult. But I do the best that I can and use a computer productivity game that mimics body doubling, which more often than not helps. I set the game’s pomodoro timer, and me and the game’s character start working together.
