  1. Writing is an art form best enjoyed in solitude. But that doesn’t mean we have to do it alone. I have been pleased with the people in this community and our guide. Know that you are welcome here, should you choose to join us.

  2. I’ve been writing for nearly 25 years, have a few novels under my belt, a good handful of published fiction, and I still feel like I don’t know what im doing! The best thing to know as a new writer is that there’s plenty of us oldies who still love to help and give input, no matter the extent of our successes. Welcome.

  3. I haven’t published fiction yet; I’m still circling ideas and listening to the stories inside me. This community is for all writers. There’s no obligation to share your work, no need to prove anything. Sometimes simply being among people who think deeply about words is already part of writing. If you are looking for thoughtful company rather than pressure, you may feel at home here, too. Welcome to Writing Woods.
