I’m L. Dacre Tynan, an Australian writer and reader of fiction with a keen focus on the extraordinary struggle wrapped around ordinary lives. Think: the jobs people show up for, the families they build or inherit, and the chaotic decision-making that shapes who our favourite characters become. I’m interested in character arc, tension development, and cheering on the underdog.

I work as a copywriter, a role that helps me to grasp the value of clarity, structure, and revision. That discipline carries into my attempts at fiction, which often centres on working‑class characters, family dynamics, and the moral friction of everyday choices.

He’s currently drafting two projects:
* An adult historical/crime novel (set in 70s/80s Australia).
* A middle-grade steampunk/SciFi adventure.
